How I Use AI Without Sounding Like A Robot
When I first started using AI, I had one fear:
“What if it makes me sound like everyone else?”
I didn’t want robotic captions or generic blog posts. I wanted help without losing my voice.
Here’s how I use AI tools (like ChatGPT) as a faceless creator without sounding like a robot.
1. I Start With the Feeling
Before I write a single word, I ask:
What’s the emotion I want the reader to feel?
Curious? Empowered? Calm?
That feeling shapes the prompt I give AI.
Instead of saying:
“Write a post about digital products.”
I’ll say:
Write a calm, encouraging post about starting a faceless digital product business from scratch.
2. I Use My Own Language First
I never copy-paste the final result.
I use AI for momentum not for perfection.
Most of the time, I feed it my voice first, like:
Here’s a rough version of what I want to say. Make it clearer but keep my tone calm and real.
3. I Don’t Ask for Generic Advice
Bad input = bad output.
Instead of saying:
Write a sales page,
I say:
Write a product page for a £17 PDF that helps introverted creators plan content without showing their face.
The more context I give, the better it sounds like me and not a robot.
4. I Edit Like a Human
Once AI gives me a draft, I trim the buzzwords, soften the hype, and add pauses or short sentences. I write like I talk.
AI doesn’t replace my voice, it helps me hear it better.
5. I Don’t Use AI to Go Viral
I use it to be consistent.
I use it to be quiet (faceless).
And most importantly, I use it to go faster, so I can create and still have a life.
If you’re a quiet builder, a career-changer, or someone who wants to create without performing.
AI can be your assistant, not your replacement.
Use it to clarify your ideas.
Then speak in your own tone.
Even if no one sees your face.
